Evergreen Goodwill Website

In the summer of 2023 the team at Mentor Creative Group and I worked with Evergreen Goodwill to re-platform and re-design their entire website. One of the issues that needed to be solved was to improve the user experience for several very different audience types like donors, store shoppers, and people seeking training and support services. The Goodwill team had also recently gone through a rebranding exercise, and need to extend their brand new guidelines to digital brand expressions and user interface design. I lead a team of UI and UX designers to conduct user research, user testing, and design concepts for the new branded web design.

My team worked simultaneously so that the research results and wireframe work was finished right as the Goodwill team picked a concept direction. Then we designed out each page in desktop and mobile, working in batches and rolling the client feedback into the next batch until the whole website was designed out in Figma.

Working in a small agency means sometimes team members get pulled away to other projects. Such was the case with this project, so to ensure the success of launching the site I pitched in to finish the work. I paid close attention to UX details, universal component designs, and prepped final designs for the development team. I knew that many people navigating this site may not be very tech savvy and may not speak english as a first language so my team and I did our best best to make sure directions were clear, and user flows were simple. We took a lot of pride in in designing a beautiful and useful design system for this worthy charitable organization.
